Mitchell Cole

Mitchell has been working in the solar industry since 2012, serving residential, commercial, and utility-scale clients. He earned his NABCEP Solar PV Installer certification in 2013 and spent several years installing and commissioning residential and commercial solar systems before completing a degree in Environmental Engineering from NC State University in 2018.

Since then, Mitchell has been involved in every phase of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects, from pre-construction planning and estimating to construction, commissioning, and operations. Over the course of his career, he has contributed to more than 100 megawatts of residential and commercial solar installations and over 1 gigawatt of utility-scale solar projects. His energy storage experience began with off-grid battery systems in 2014 and has expanded to nearly 500 megawatts (2 gigawatt-hours) of utility-scale battery storage projects.

Rather than focusing on sales quotas, he focuses on providing honest assessments, practical solutions, and clear expectations.
